So they kick everyone out of their apartments at the end of the school semesters. And move in day is usually only a few days before the next school semester starts. Only problem is there is quite a few days difference in between where off campus students are homeless.
example: this year exams ended the 12th, check out day was the 13th, move back in day 23rd.
So thats eleven nights that 80% of the student body has no where to sleep nor keep their junk.
A few different options that different students take:
1. Go home
2. Stay with family
3. Sleep on another friends couch (who of course is not moving housing or has other housing worked out)
4.
Pay stupid fees to stay late at your housing or early move in fees at
your new place. (umm no thank you i already paid a full rent once this
month even if you are kicking me out early and i would rather not pay
you twice)
5. Live in your car
...of
course very few of these options have an alternative place to put all
of your life belongings so that's a whole different list of where your
stuff might end up. Most people seem to just disperse it. A few boxes
here, a few pieces of furniture there, and it only takes all of the next
semester re-locating who you pawned a few boxes of stuff on during your
moving process.
So the answer is quite simple to this whole mess, don't ever move.
