June Jubilee

Freaking sweet weekend.

BYU is pretty sweet in the fact that we don't have much of a stranger line. Its more of the
"I go here, you go here, we probably have a lot in common, therefore we are friends" ideology.
So a friend and I sit down in the wilk terrace and three boys at the table next to us after a minutes are all like "hey whats up? we should all eat lunch together."
And now you are thinking.. they just thought clarissa's friend was cute. And you would probably be right, but still it's cool that we could randomly meet three nice kids and have a few laughs over lunch together.

The evening concluded with a RS sleepover at the Pack's home which included lots of junk food, chick flicks (confession of a shopaholic) boy talk, and nail painting. It's not much of a stereotype of what happens at sleepovers when it always really does happen.


Saturday was cleaning checks. There is always a love-hate relationship when it comes to those things. 
But yeah afterwards we hopped in the pool, and played

toothpicks

Ever played before?
It goes kind of like this:

1. Someone dives in with a few toothpicks in their hands and places them at the bottom on the deep end of the pool.
2. All participants wait for these really hard to see tooth picks to start surfacing.
3. Once you see a tooth pick you jump in and try to grab in before someone else does and jumps for the same tooth pick

Rules
1. When you snag a tooth pick it has to be as you jump in. No fishing around for tooth picks once your in the water.
2. If you missed you hop out and have to try again.

Object of the game: get more tooth picks as your neighbor and push as many people in the pool in the mean time :]

Kassie's baby shower was that afternoon. I got baby Emmett a cute little BYU get up (I will not have my first nephew wearing Utah red)

And what a better way to end the day than with a dance party, whitehouse style :]

sunday was splendid as well.
*church was extra good
*i saw Jon at the temple- that was weird
*delish food at break-the-fast
*got a visit from the best natalia in the whole world
