If you have ever done this, you better feel super SUPER guilty.
I am sitting in the library currently and apparently I picked the wrong
table. Some girl shows up and what do I get to see in
my peripheral vision for the next 45 minutes? Tonsil hockey. Having a
couple make out in front of you while you're innocently TRYING to focus
on homework isn't the most pleasant thing. Get a personal study room if
you have to cause no one wants to have their apatite ruined.

Nothing to do with the TV show. My name is Clarissa, named after a great-grandmother. This is about my life and my random thoughts. It's also the second time I've created this blog, because the first one was deleted by Google, because it was hacked. Sad and long story. But I'm trying again.

If you knew me this would not be surprising that...
This commercial aired in the Super Bowl this past year.
Now any person could figure right away when these shoes hit the market what their first flaw was -Ugly!
These
shoes seem comparable to crocs, another shoe when it first hit the
market that was view as unfashionable. Now I know that crocs were
probably never worn on the red carpet but their popularity did quickly
picked up because so many enjoyed the quality and comfort of this slip
on shoe. The croc industry boomed and even created about many many new
styles and products. Now these shape-up shoes seem to be in this same
category and something just isn't quite clicking for them in the same
way. Being in advertising right now I was trying to think of possible
factors and only one made sense.
Crocs got really big with those who wanted practical shoes;
mostly moms, working dads, little kids and even the older generation.
The people using these shoes were pretty much everyone except the
teenagers and young adults, individuals who wanted nothing to do with
comfort or practicality, but rather wear the newest look no matter how
many blisters they gave you or how bad your feel hurt at the end of the
day.
It seems that these Shape-Up shoes are simply targeting the wrong audience.
No
matter how much they give you great thighs or help your posture
no adolescent is going to wear them to high school or around campus.
Know your audience.

A Glimpse into Clarissa's Last Week
So I have been on a little anti-homework phase. I wouldn't say by any
means this is the greatest time in the semester to go on such break -but
well things happen. So what have I been doing with my life? Amazing
stuff.
I have refocused back on the rest of my life -the one I sometimes forget I have.
I have discovered a few new albums that are hoppin'
1. Habits by Neon Trees
2. Kaleidoscope Heart-Sara Bareilles
3. The Prince of Egypt
4. Ray Guns Are Not Just the Future -The Bird and the Bee
... and have updated my music library (which even syncs to my phone :] )
After receiving a new calling as publicity co-chair, I have been having fun entering and organizing the ward calendar.
I have been trying, key word trying, to get back into shape. I am currently 4 weeks away from running a half marathon and only just slightly behind schedule on my running.
I have been diving into the New Testament, Book of Mormon and General Conference talks like I have never been before done in my life. I am learning so much and loving it!
I have just finished cleaning; my apartment is spic and span. There is no more laundry to be put away, the shelfs are newly organized, pictures of my dearest loved ones all hung up, all the shoes found there homes again, and I even made my bed this morning :] It feels so great to live in a clean home.
... And now there is close to nothing left to do except face the homework. Thanks for the nice little break.

New phone.
I have "upgraded my life."
... and I love it way too much.
Two years finally came around so it was off to the Sprint store for me. I came out a little marveled, nervous, and with a lighter wallet. Oh yeah and a new phone.
This is the Intercept:
Its kind of my new bestfriend... I have not named it yet tho.
(but let me know if you have suggestions)
Wicked sweet features: touch screen, GPS, conversation texting, instant email, can hold all my music, fun games like tetris and connect four, scriptures at my finger tips, 4G network, pretty much any app I can find online is now mine including (few example i currently have: chuck norris facts, my daily horoscope, flashlight, google sky map, translators, how to tie a tie, mini piano), smart phone, byu daily universe, google calendar, camera and facebook.
I think I may have found true love.
